Challenge
At the time of the company’s acquisition by Solera Inc in 2006, Audatex had a presence in 24 countries. Following acquisition, the company was legally bound to remove all references of previous ownership from its global collateral within 90 days. This generated an urgent need to create a new brand across hugely varying cultural and commercial environments. Rather than simply produce a new logo, our challenge was to create a coherent developed position, new identity and image, without disconnecting companies from their heritage or devaluing existing brand equity. Working with the global leadership team it was paramount to set up a communications framework from which each country manager could communicate the launch and its significance to each of their stakeholders, whilst at the same time remaining aligned with the new, exciting corporate messaging. All in 3 months.

Results
The new consolidated positioning ‘Global knowledge, invested locally’ and the meaning behind it gained rapid buy-in, generating positive responses from country managers, business partners and customers alike (audiences traditionally wary of re-branding activities). All stakeholders were clear on - and complimentary about -the new Audatex direction, with a good understanding of the strategy and how it would impact their business.

A new global identity, guidelines and initial collateral were delivered to 24 countries in three months. The new identity is visually consistent, but also allows for local variations. Audatex is now primed for the next phase of its international evolution.
